Brenda Lee's "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" HIts #1 65 Years After Release

Brenda Lee's classic holiday song "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" has reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time since its release in 1958. The song surpassed Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" in a close chart battle. "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" broke several records, becoming the oldest song ever to top the Billboard Hot 100 and making Lee, at 78 years old, the oldest person to achieve this feat. Lee's song is her third No. 1 hit, following "I'm Sorry" and "I Want To Be Wanted."
